65th GRAMMYS: Burna Boy And Tems bag Nominations

Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy and his colleague Tems are both on the 2022 Grammys nomination list. 

Once again Nigerian singers Burna Boy and Tems backed nominations in the forthcoming 65th Grammys Awards coming up in 2023. The Recording Academy has officially announced the list of nominees for the world’s biggest music awards show.

Nigeria was fully represented by the sensational Tems and Burna Boy.

The “Common Person” crooner was nominated for “Best Global performance” for his viral hit “Last Last” and also for “Best Global Album” with “Love Damini“.

Meanwhile, Tems bagged nominations in the “Best Rap Song” and “Best Melodic Rap Performance” categories for her effort on the song “Wait For U” by Future featuring Drake. There was a third nod for Tems for featuring on Beyonce’s “Renaissance” in the “Album of the Year” category.

Nigerian music fans and Africans in general are very pleased with the nominations so far.
