Gambia while Faculty of Engineering of Osun State University are going to be playing host to their Engineering student counterparts from the University of Gambia in June 2019.
The exchange program is one among the Professor Labode Popoola-led administration’s commitments in internationalizing the University because the Vice-Chancellor reiterated his commitment in seeing the University grow beyond the shores of this country.
In his goodwill message to the scholars , the Vice-Chancellor said, “Yes, we are rooted in Osun but heading for the world , whilst he prayed for his or her safe, impactful and memorable stay within the Gambia.
It had been stated that the resumption of the newly admitted students on this date will affect the scholars tons because the second batch of the list of admission has just been published while the third batch remains ongoing and this might affect their registration if the date remains unchanged.
Speaking on the slight change within the academic calendar, The Registrar of Osun State University, Mr. Gafar Adebayo Shittu stated that the change within the resumption date is merely for the newly admitted students and students which will still be admitted.
Speaking on the efforts of the University, the general public Relations Officer of the University, Mr. Ademola Adesoji, said that the University is usually having the interest of all its stakeholders at bottom in completing all its plans. “As we speak, the E-portal for registration and payment for all fees is currently opened for college kids and matriculation date for fresh students won’t be affected as earlier fixed.”
