PDP MEMBERS IN MORO DECAMP AFTER WARD SENSITIZATION TOUR BY HON ROTIMI ILIASU

A large number of the People’s Democratic Party’s members denounced their party to pledge allegiance for the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Moro Local Government. This happened when the Honourable Commissioner for Works, Engineer Rotimi Iliasu was on sensitization tour in Biaala Arobadi Ward yesterday.

A major big wig of the opposition party, Alhaja Mayaki from Shao Ward and her members took the decision after seeing the good work and transformation happening in Kwara State, driven by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq. “We never expected it to be this good, series of development and dividends of democracy is reaching us despite being an opposition”, she said.

The Honourable Commissioner during his remarks reiterated the good aim of Gov AbdulRahman to the good people of Kwara and Moro LG as a whole. He also encouraged all members of the APC to remain good ambassadors of the party as this will encourage more people to join the ruling party.

The defectors pledged allegiance to the ruling party (APC) to be faithful members and be good ambassadors of the party at all times. They thanked Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq for being a good leader of the party who leads by example. They appreciate Hon. Rotimi Iliasu for his unflinching efforts in putting Moro LG ahead at all times.
