Also, Tems becomes the first female African artist to earn an RIAA certification.
“Essence” was released as the 11th track on “Made In Lagos”, the fourth studio album by Wizkid which was released in October last year.
The 14-track project features global heavyweights like Damian Marley, Skepta, H.E.R, Ella Mai and Burna Boy.
