UNIOSUN EXCELS AT INTER-UNIVERSITY DEBATE
The theme of the talk was “Presidential Libraries will Reduce Leadership Deficit in Africa”.
The event, chaired by the primary lady of Ogun State, Her Excellency Dr Mrs. Olufunsho Amosun, had attending distinguished members of the Nigerian and international community, amongst whom were the Honourable Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, the chief Governor of Anambra State (represented by the Commissioner for Education); Amb. Mary Khimulu, a former Kenyan Ambassador to UNESCO; and former High Commisioner to the uk , Dr. Christopher Kolade. The celebrant himself the previous President was attending together with his wife Chief Mrs. Bola Obasanjo.
The University was ably represented by: Ogundele Temiloluwa (Law); Hammed Olalekan (Law); Olatunde Emmanuel (Law); Onatade Boluwatife (Social Sciences.); Ojieh Precious (Social Sciences); Ojo Ebunoluwa (Humanities & Culture); and Balogun Hanifat (Education). The team had undergone rigorous training under the efficacious supervision of: Dr Anthony Kola-Olusanya, the Acting Dean of the school of Education; Prof. Victor Adetimirin; Prof. Adenike Akinjobi; and Dr Obiseye Obiyemi.
The Vice-chancellor, Professor Labode Popoola while addressing the victorious students said, “this quite information is what we glance forward to sharing with the whole populace in order that the institution are going to be known for positive things instead of the other , and concerted efforts are being made during this direction to make sure this.
Be reminded also that NO UNREGISTERED STUDENTS are going to be allowed to write down the semester exams starting on Monday, 6th March, 2020.
